ACTIVITIES

A Fine City

Your group will travel to Norwich to examine the development of the city through the centuries; the early development once sea levels fell; the Norman Conquest and its impact on traffic problems in the city today; the history of the castle and cathedral; medieval buildings and remains; industry and commerce. Throughout the study, emphasis is placed on the changes in the city, the reasons for those changes and the effects those changes have had on the inhabitants and the town.

This activity can include visits to Norwich Cathedral and/or The Castle Museum.
