The following is a selection of the activities we offer. It is not an exhaustive list as we are continually developing new activities, often in conjunction with visiting primary schools and groups.
Each year we tailor-make programmes to suit individual schools or groups so please, if you would like us to provide an experience that isn’t listed below, contact us to discuss your ideas.
A unique opportunity to spend a day with our marsh experts and discover the beauty and solitude of Blakeney Point.
This is an ideal way to examine the habitat and examine the problems it faces from tourism.
Cromer is ideal as a local history study with the activities being available as a full-day or half-day, depending on your requirements.
This is a challenging and rewarding activity and a firm favourite with all those who have tried it.
With clues, puzzles, cryptograms, anagrams and rewards for the successful, this is one of our most popular days.
Your group will travel to Norwich to examine the development of the city through the centuries.
The purpose of this day is the personal development of the individual child combined with team building.
The Twilight Safari is an excellent and fun opportunity for children to experience the woods at night.
The pupils visit the priory ruins and explore the village and walk the route of the original pilgrims.
The pupils will look at the rock formations, glacial deposits, erratics, fossils and the forest bed series.
This activity is an excellent means of stimulating pupil’s interest in the woodland habitat.
Follow the River Glaven along its course from as near to the source as possible to the estuary at Blakeney.
Enjoy the views and build your sense of adventure with our exciting ropes course. Opened in 2023, the ropes course is a real Aylmerton ‘highlight’.
Each element tests your physical and mental resilience – including a wobbly bridge, see-saw, jungle ropes, tunnel and even a skateboard!
The SmartSnap safety system, harnesses and helmets ensure that you are always attached and safe, whilst our fully trained instructors provide instruction and encouragement.
